As a sophomore (2017-18)

• Played in one game Nov. 21 vs. Niagara, taking two shots on goal and earning a plus-1 rating by being in the mix on Trevor Yates' game-winning goal late in the third period.
• Earned team's Wendall and Francelia Earle Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement, which is presented to the member in each class who has achieved the highest cumulative grade point average.
 

As a freshman (2016-17)

• Played in 10 games, primarily during first half of the season.
• First collegiate goal had unique distinction of being Cornell's first game-winner of the season, swatting in a bouncing puck from the slot in a Nov. 11 game at Brown.
• Notched only assist of the season the next night in a 6-3 victory over Yale.
 

Prior to Cornell

• Posted 23 points on 11 goals and 12 assists and a plus-15 rating in 53 games with the Green Bay Gamblers of the United States Hockey League.
• Notched 33 points with USHL's Chicago Steel during 2014-15 season, helping squad win bronze at the 2015 Junior Club World Cup in Russia.
• Before joining USHL ranks, spent two seasons with the Caledonia Corvairs in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League.
• Named GOJHL's Player of the Year and led Midwest Conference in scoring with 96 points in 49 games en route to Sutherland Cup championship.
• Two-time GOJHL all-star and named the 2013 Midwest Conference Rookie of the Year, the 2014 Ontario Hockey Association Junior B Player of the Year and received the OHA Top Prospect Award.
• Graduate of Bishop Tonnos Catholic Secondary School, where he was a three-time winner of the Director's Award for top GPA in his class.
 

Personal

• Connor David Murphy is the son of Dave and Sue Murphy, and he has a younger brother.
• Enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the SC Johnson College of Business.
