Biography

As a Junior (2019-20)

• Saw action in 32 of 33 games, sat one out due to injury.
• Totaled 11 assists, notching two against St. Lawrence (2/28).
• Compiled 33 blocks on the season.
• Finished junior year ranked ninth in blocks (122) and fifth in blocks per game (1.21) in Cornell career records.
 

As a Sophomore (2018-19)

• Appeared in all 36 games, registering 12 assists.
• Tied for third most points by a defenseman on the team with 12.
• Opened the season with two assists against Syracuse, which marked her first career multi-point game
• Second on the team in blocked shots with 52 on the season.

As a Freshman (2017-18)

• Played in all 33 games, recording seven points from five goals and two assists.
• Registered first-collegiate goal at Syracuse (1/9), which was the game winner.
• Tallied first-collegiate point at Brown (11/17) with a primary assist on the game winner.
• Had third most blocks on the squad (37).
• Ranked fourth on the team in shot percentage (.156).


Prior to Cornell

• Competed with the Chicago Mission at the club level, where she won a national U19 national championship in 2015.
• Helped the Misson to the U19 national championship game in 2017 and semifinals in 2016.
• Also was a national semifinalist in 2014 at the U16 level.
• Was named MVP for University of Chicago Laboratory Schools in 2016 and 2017.
• Earned all-state honors in all four of her years with the team.
• Helped U High to a state championship in 2015 and semifinals in 2014 and 2017.
• Awarded the league’s Top Defender and made the Blackhawk Alumni Association High School All-Star Team in 2017.
• Played 81 regular season games, tallied a program-record 128 points on 68 goals and 60 assists.
• Also swam for Chicago Wolfpack Aquatic Club for four years, earning state championships in several events in 2015.

• Kendra Rose Nealey is the daughter of Paul Nealey and Nicola Ferrier, and she has one older brother.
• Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
