As a sophomore (2020)

• Made three relief appearances before the season ended after just nine games due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
• Tied for team lead among relievers with eight strikeouts in 5.2 innings.

As a freshman (2019)

• Led team's freshmen and ranked third among all pitchers with 11 relief appearances without being a pitcher of record.
• Posted a 4.50 ERA across 12 innings with seven strikeouts.
• Yielded just two extra-base hits (no home runs).
• Longest outing came in team's regular-season finale, spanning two innings May 7 at St. Bonaventure.

Prior to Cornell

• Earned Atlantic Region honorable mention for 2018 Perfect Game All-Region teams and was placed on all-tournament teams for the WWBA 16U and 17U National Championships.
• Tabbed 26th among right-handed pitchers in Pennsylvania and Top 1,000 nationally among classmates by Perfect Game.
• Named 2018 Mercury All-Arena Player of the Year after helping Phoenixville HS to a division title during his senior year.
• Two-time PAC All-Frontier Division first-team honoree.
• Named to the 2018 All-Southeastern PA third team and 2017 Mercury All-Area second team.
• Class valedictorian, a member of the National Honor Society, and a National AP Scholar.

Personal

• Kevin Michael Cushing is the son of Dan and Ellen Cushing, and he has one brother.
• Enrolled in the College of Engineering.
