As a freshman (2019)

• Started 27 of team's first 28 games and was primary shortstop before being shut down in the second half due to injury.
• Despite missing 11 games, still lead team with 16 walks.
• Served as team's primary leadoff hitter for first month of season.
• Led team with .325 average in Ivy League games.
• Recorded first collegiate hit in 2-for-5 performance March 1 at VCU.
• Was 2-for-3 with first collegiate double March 24 at Columbia.
 

Prior to Cornell

• Played for four years as a pitcher and shortstop at Flint Hill School, three times earning spots on all-state first team and all-conference teams
• Garnered Washington Post Spring All-Met honorable mention three times.
• Earned Atlantic Region honorable mention for 2018 Perfect Game All-Region teams.
• Tabbed 14th among shortstops in Virginia and Top 500 nationally among classmates by Perfect Game.
• Also played four years as a shooting guard and small forward with Flint Hill's basketball team.
 

Personal

• Justin McNeil Taylor is the son of Hugh Taylor and Tana McNeil-Taylor, and he has one brother.
• Enrolled in the College of Engineering.
