Biography

As a senior (2019)

• Played in eight contests during her senior campaign.
• Made her first collegiate start against Niagara on Sept. 7.
• Notched a season-high six digs against Niagara and Utah State on Sept. 14.
• Posted 38 receptions, committing only two errors for a .947 reception percentage.
• Tallied 19 total digs on the season, averaging 1.12 digs per set.

As a junior (2018)

• Saw action in three matches, playing in a combined six sets vs. Siena, Lamar and UTSA.
• Posted a season-high 11 kills vs. Siena to go along with 10 digs and three service aces.

As a sophomore (2017)

• Saw action in one match, playing in two sets vs. Hampton.
• Finished the year with two kills.

As a freshman (2016)

• Beaudoin saw action in one match during her rookie season, playing vs. Binghamton.

Prior to Cornell

• A four-year starter at Grafton High School, Beaudoin served as team captain in each of her final three seasons.
• Led her team to consecutive VHSL 4A State Quarterfinalists (2013, 2014).
• Was a two-time first-team All-Bay River's Conference selection (2013, 2014), and was named first-team all-region in 2014.
• As a senior Beaudoin earned the Grafton High School Women's Sportsmanship Award, and the team’s Spirit Award.
• Took home her team’s Leadership Award in 2014.
• As a member of the Williamsburg Volleyball Club she won the Open Division of the 2014 Capitol Hill Classic, and competed at the club's 14 National, 15 National, 16 National, 17 National, and 18 national teams.
• Also lettered four times in swimming and soccer.
• Qualified to compete in VHSL 4A State swim meet in the 50 freestyle (2014, 2015), and was named first-team All-Bay River in soccer following her senior season.

Personal

• Sophia Beaudoin is the daughter of Pierre Beaudoin and Marlyn Beaudoin Bond and she has two older brothers and one older sister.
• Her sister, Caroline, was a member of the Stanford University field hockey team and has competed for the US Women's National Indoor Field Hockey Team.
• Her cousin, Isabelle Bond, is a three-time Taekwon-Do World Champion, while her uncle, Phillipe Parent, has also participated in the Taekwon-Do World Championships.
• Beaudoin is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
