2022 I SENIOR SEASON
Second-team All-Ivy selection ... started all 10 games at guard and blocked for an offense that led the Ivy League in time of possession by nearly two minutes per game ... part of an offensive line that surrendered just 14 sacks, the second-fewest in school history (nine in 2021) ... the team allowed one sack or fewer in six contests, including two games with zero sacks allowed ... chosen to compete in the Japan-U.S. Dream Bowl in Tokyo following the season.

2021 I JUNIOR SEASON
Started all 10 games on the offensive line, eight at right guard and two at left guard ... part of an offensive line that led the Ivy League and ranked fifth nationally with 0.9 sacks allowed per game – three fewer than any other Ivy school allowed ... the offensive line allowed a school record-low nine sacks, destroying previous mark of 17 (done three times) despite ranking second in the Ivy in pass attempts ... was second in the Ivy and 16th nationally in fewest tackles for loss allowed (4.2 per game) ... the team averaged 121.7 yards rushing with 12 touchdowns on the ground despite not having one individual average more than 7.0 carries per game ... the Big Red didn’t allow a sack against nationally-ranked VMI, Colgate or Penn and no more than two in any game.

2020 I SOPHOMORE SEASON
Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2019 I FRESHMAN SEASON
Did not see varsity action.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Was an all-district selection while playing on both lines at Rockhurst HS ... helped team to a state runner-up finish and a pair of district championship teams ... captained the squad as a senior ... named the team's best lineman and was the Scholar-Athlete award winner. 

PERSONAL
Joseph Mark Kelly is the son of Mark and Laura Kelly and has two younger brothers ... his mother played golf at Kansas ... he is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
