Biography

As a senior (2020-21)

• Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
 

As a junior (2019-20)

• Averaged 7.1 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 0.7 steals in 27 starts.
• Upped those numbers to 9.3 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists on 46 percent shooting from beyond the arc while playing nearly 30 minutes per game in Ivy play.
• Registered two points, three rebounds, two assists and a blocked shot in his first collegiate start vs. Binghamton.
• Notched eight points and a pair of steals at Bryant.
• Scored six points with three rebounds vs. NJIT.
• Posted three points and two steals at DePaul and had two points, a rebound and a steal at Syracuse..
• Recorded three points, six rebounds, two assists and a steal in the overtime loss at Coppin State.
• Had seven points, five rebounds and two steals vs. Lafayette.
• Scored four points with three rebounds and three assists at Colgate.

As a sophomore (2018-19)

• Scored three points and grabbed three rebounds in the win at Towson.
• Scored two points with a rebound and an assist in the CIT first round game at Robert Morris.

As a freshman (2017-18)

• Averaged 3.1 points, 0.4 rebounds and 0.4 assists in 16 games off the bench.
• Shot 46 percent from 3-point range (5-of-11) while playing 9.1 minutes per game.
• Had a career-high 12 points in the win over Central Penn.
• Notched six points and a steal in the win at Longwood.
• Scored his first career points and added two rebounds and an assist in a career-high 14 minutes at Northeastern.
• Made his collegiate debut with five minutes off the bench at Syracuse.
• Posted his first career assist at UMass Lowell.
 

Prior to Cornell

• Knapp graduated as the leading scorer in school history, posting 1,855 career points in his four-year varsity career at Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School.
• Named to the All-Met first team by the Washington Post.
• He posted 27.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.6 steals per game as a senior after averaging 21.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists as a junior.
• Named league MVP as a junior and senior.
• Knapp has twice been named to the Maccabi USA Youth basketball team and will play in July in Israel.
• He was named 2017 National Player of the Year and 2014 Underclassman of the Year by Jewish Hoops America.
