As a senior (2019-20)

• Played in nine contests (one start), scoring 17 points, four rebounds, an assist and a blocked shot in 29 total minutes.
• Has hit 7-of-9 field goals (78 percent).
• Missed the first portion of the season due to injury.
• Made his collegiate debut in the final minute at No. 20/21 Penn State.
• Scored his first collegiate points and blocked a shot in the win over Purchase.
• Hit 5-of-6 field goals for 13 points and added three rebounds in eight minutes at Harvard.
• Made one basket off the bench at Dartmouth.
• Picked up a Senior Day start against Harvard.
• Joined the team as a walk-on in the spring.
 

Prior to Cornell

• Four-year letter winner while attending Landon School (freshman) and Bullis School (sophomore to senior).
• Helped the team to a league title as a sophomore.
• Also competed in the high jump in track and field, earning all-league honors as a senior.
• Was part of three conference championship teams on the track.
 

Personal

• Noah Henry Gear is the son of Kenneth Gear and Salene Hitchcock and has an older brother and sister.
• His father played wide receiver at Michigan and his uncle played linebacker at Iowa.
• Enrolled in the College of Architecture, Art and Planning.
