As a freshman (2017-18)
• Scored five goals with 13 assists for 18 points, which led his class and ranked sixth overall on the team.
• Became first freshman in program history to have at least one point in each of his first seven games, with that points streak also serving as the team's longest all season.
• Earned team's Greg Ratushny Award, given annually to the freshman who best exhibits enthusiasm for both the team and the university, camaraderie with teammates and fellow students, and promise for the future.
• Scored in collegiate debut, converting a rebound Oct. 27 against Alabama-Huntsville at Lynah Rink.
• Notched the winner Nov. 3 at Quinnipiac on the power play.
• Had an assist on the team's only goal in the NCAA Northeast Region semifinal March 24 vs. Boston University.
Prior to Cornell
• Selected by the New York Rangers in the sixth round of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft with the 174th overall pick.
• Helped lead St. Andrew’s to consecutive CISAA provincial championships in 2016 and 2017.
• Captained 2016-17 squad while posting 50 points on 28 goals and 22 assists in just 46 games.
• Continued to average better than a point per game through CISAA postseason play.
• In 2015-16 season, led team in goals (40) and points (72) while helping St. Andrew’s capture a national championship.
• Also played soccer at St. Andrew’s and named team’s most valuable player in 2016.

• Morgan Andrew Barron is the son of Gerard and Jenny Barron, and he has a younger brother, Justin, who plays for the QMJHL's Halifax Mooseheads.
