As a senior (2021-22)
• Named to All-Ivy League second team.
• Recorded career-high 18 points on six goals and 12 assists while playing in all of team's 32 games.
• Garnered ECAC Hockey Player of the Month honors for February after posting nine points and a plus-10 rating in nine games over that stretch.
• Team's leader in faceoffs taken with a 55.2% success rate that ranked second on the team.
As a senior (2020-21)
• Named ECAC Hockey Student-Athlete of the Year.
• Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As a junior (2019-20)
• Excelled in a role as the center of a line — typically with wingers Tristan Mullin and Noah Bauld — that was matched up against the opposition's most potent combination of forwards.
• Recorded 10 points on three goals and seven assists in 24 games.
• Marked return to the lineup after a five-game absence due to injury with a goal and an assist Feb. 8 at Colgate.
• Posted six points in his final eight games of the season.
As a sophomore (2018-19)
• Played in all 36 games, posting eight points on three goals and five assists.
• All goals and half of overall scoring came in the postseason, with three goals and an assist in seven playoff games.
• Scored team's lone shorthanded goal of the season in ECAC Hockey Championship semifinal against Brown on March 22.
• Frequently centered a line with Noah Bauld on right wing.
As a freshman (2017-18)
• Centered a line in each of the team's 33 games, posting 12 points on five goals and seven assists.
• Posted a plus-8 rating despite frequently being matched up against opposition's top forward combinations.
• Tied for team lead in goals by a freshman, including a hat trick Dec. 30 vs. Canisius.
• Ranked third on team with 54.5 winning percentage on faceoffs (including 60.1 percent success after Feb. 1).
• Recorded primary assist on each of team's goals in an ECAC Hockey Championship quarterfinal series-clinching victory over Quinnipiac on March 10.
Prior to Cornell
• Spent 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons with BCHL's Powell River Kings, amassing 89 points over 98 games in the regular season and another 18 points in 21 postseason contests.
• Twice competed with Team Canada West in the World Junior ‘A’ Challenge, winning a gold medal during the 2015-16 event.
• Came through Grey-Bruce Highlanders midget teams before being drafted in 2014 OHL Priority Selection.
• Spent the 2014-15 season with Waterloo Siskins in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League and was selected to play in league's top prospects game.
• Also selected for the CJHL top prospects game in 2016 and ranked 147th among North American skaters by the NHL Central Scouting Bureau for the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.

• Kyle Cougar Levi Betts is the son of Scott and Tanya Betts, and he has an older sister.
• Enrolled in the College of Engineering.
