2023 l SENIOR SEASON
Played in 14 of the Big Red’s matchups as a part of the three-man faceoff unit ... posted one assist on the season against Penn (3/26/23) ... had a season faceoff percentage of 51.5% … recorded 35 ground balls, with a season-high of 9 against Princeton (4/29/23) ... also against Princeton, went 13-of-15 at the faceoff X.

2022 l JUNIOR SEASON
Honorable mention All-Ivy ... played in all 19 games for the Big Red in 2022 ... won 220-of-445 face-offs, good for a .494 face-off percentage, with a team-high 117 ground balls ... was 17-of-28 on face-offs while collecting 11 ground balls in the win over Hobart ... went 16-of-29 while scooping 12 ground balls in the over No. 5 Ohio State, who entered the game first in the nation in face-off- percentage ... won the face-off battle 17-10 while corralling nine ground balls in the over No. 11 Harvard ... was 17-of-33 in the overtime win at Syracuse while also collecting eight ground balls ... won 13-of-23 face-offs while scooping six ground balls against Brown ... set season highs in face-offs won (18) and ground balls (13) in the win at No. 5 Princeton ... neutralized the powerful Buckeye face-off unit in the NCAA Tournament first round win over Ohio State, winning 10-of-23 starts.

2021 l SOPHOMORE SEASON

2020 l FRESHMAN SEASON
Saw action in all five games as a freshman during shortened season due to COVID-19, serving as one of the team’s two primary face-off specialists ... led Cornell in face-off winning percentage (0.613), a mark which also ranked fifth in the Ivy League and 17th in all of Division I at the conclusion of the season ... finished the year 46-of-75 from the X ... posted a winning face-off percentage in four of Cornell’s five contests, notching double-digit face-off victories against Towson (13-of-17) and Penn State (17-of-28) ... notched his highest face-off win percentage of the season against the Tigers (0.764) ... in addition to a successful day at the X against then-No. 2 Penn State, scored a career-high two goals, including the game-winner with eight seconds left to propel the Big Red to an 18-17 victory ... named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week and to the USILA Team of the Week on March 9 for this performance ... scored first collegiate goal against UAlbany on Feb. 15 ... ranked fourth on the team in ground balls (17), notching a career-best six against Towson on Feb. 21 ... finished the season with three goals and three points.

Two-time U.S. Lacrosse All-American at Massapequa HS, where he was elected team captain in 2018 and 2019 ... named an Under Armour All-American in 2019 ... named the Nassau County Player of the Year in 2018 ... earned Newsday Specialist of the Year honors in 2018 and 2019 ... three-time all-county and two-time first team All-Long Island selection ... also wrestled and played football ... two-year captain of the wrestling team and one year captain of the football squad ... New York State finalist during his senior year at 182 pounds in wrestling.

Angelo Peter Petrakis is the son of Peter and Irene Petrakis and has one younger sister ... he is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
