As a senior (2021)

• Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a junior (2020)

• Ranked second on the team with a .286 batting average and led the team with a .500 slugging percentage, earning three starts among five appearances in a season truncated to just nine games due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
• Hit first collegiate home run in team's neutral-site victory over Niagara on March 1.

As a sophomore (2019)

• Transitioned to everyday field player, ranking third among qualifying batters with a .257 average to go with five doubles, seven RBI and six stolen bases across 34 of the team's 38 games.
• Appeared at all three positions in the outfield and as the designated hitter, primarily batting fifth in the lineup.
• Hit a three-run double March 2 in a game at VCU.
• Starting April 1 at Yale, had 10 hits over an eight-game span.
• Ranked second among qualifying batters on the team with a .290 average in Ivy League play, including a 3-for-4 performance with a double in May 4's first game at Dartmouth.

As a freshman (2018)

• Made two relief appearances on the mound with 1-0 record and 20.25 ERA over 1.1 innings.
• Recorded win in collegiate debut, fanning only batter faced April 4 vs. Canisius.  

Prior to Cornell

• Was named second-team all-region, first-team all-county and first-team all-league as a senior at Hoover HS.
• Led the Federal League and Stark County in RBIs as a senior.
• Named first-team all-league and was league leader in batting average as a sophomore.
• Member of the National Honor Society and was named Hoover HS Male Scholar Athlete of the Year.

Personal

• Nicholas Drew Binnie is the son of William and Ann Binnie, and he has one older brother.
• He is enrolled in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
