As a junior (2019)

• Once again a top reliever with a 2.39 ERA, one save and 17 strikeouts across 26.1 innings in 11 appearances.
• Primarily piggybacked on starts by Jonathan Zacharias and threw multiple innings in outings.
• In outings just out of the bullpen, had 1.22 ERA.
• In Ivy League games, led qualifying pitchers with 1.69 ERA and .187 opponent batting average.
• Stranded six of seven inherited runners.
• Yielded just five hits in 42 at-bats with runners on base (.119).
 

As a sophomore (2018)

• One of Ivy League's top rookies, posting 2-5 record with 2.03 ERA and team-high three saves across 16 relief appearances.
• 1.59 ERA ranked third among relievers with at least 10 appearances in Ivy League play.
• Ranked fourth in Ivy League with three saves, all coming in season's final four league series.
• Led Ivy League with 11 games finished.
• Tied for fourth on team with 26 strikeouts despite working just 26.2 innings.
• Yielded just two extra-base hits across 17 innings in Ivy League play.
• Just .145 batting average against with runners on base.
• Stranded 10 of 11 inherited runners.
• Earned first collegiate victory March 17 at Fordham after working 3.2 scoreless frames.
• Three of five losses direct result of unearned runs.
 

Prior to Cornell

• Spent the 2016-17 year at Georgia Highlands College, but was not on baseball team's roster while rehabilitating injury.
• Named first-team all-Middle Georgia and first-team all-region after senior season at Veterans HS.
• Helped Veterans win region championships in 2013 and 2014. 
• Scored perfect score on the Georgia state writing test.
 

Personal

• Andrew William Ellison is the son of Johnny and Elissa Ellison, and he has one older sister and one younger sister.
• Enrolled in the College of Human Ecology.
