As a freshman (2019)

• Led all qualifying Ivy League pitchers with a 2.83 ERA to with a 1-3 record and 30 strikeouts across 41.1 innings.
• Ranked second on team with eight starts among 13 pitching appearances.
• Primarily worked two times through opposition's order before handing ball off to long reliever Andrew Ellison.
• Earned first collegiate victory May 4 at Dartmouth, needing to throw just 60 pitches to to get through 6.1 innings while yielding one run.
• Recorded season-high seven strikeouts in 4.1 innings of work against Brown on April 6.
• In seven Ivy games, had a 3.46 ERA that ranked topped among the circuit's qualifying freshmen and 10th overall. 
 

Prior to Cornell

• Competed for four seasons at Notre Dame Academy as a pitcher and on the left side of the infield.
• Named Fox River Classic Conference Player of the Year and to the all-conference team in both 2017 and 2018, while also served as team captain.
• Also competed for four years in volleyball, earning all-conference honors as a senior.
• Member of the National Honor Society.
 

Personal

• Jonathan William Zacharias is the son of Ken and Carolyn Zacharias, and he has four brothers and one sister.
• Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
