Biography
At Cornell:
Junior (2006-07): Playing in 27 games for the Big Red, Beerworth was third on the team in points with 14. She served as assistant captain, notching five goals and nine assists. Beerworth had three multi-point games. The forward scored a goal and two assists in the Big Red’s win at Union on Dec. 2. She also tallied a goal and an assist in a win against Union on Jan. 26.
Sophomore (2005-06): Beerworth played in all 28 games as a sophomore. She had six multi-point games. The forward led the team in points with 21 and assists with 15.
Freshman (2004-05): Beerworth was named the team's co-rookie of the year after appearing in 27 games in 2004-05. She scored four points in her first four games with the Big Red, including a two-goal effort against Union on Nov. 13. She also had a short-handed tally against Vermont on Nov. 19.
Prior to Cornell
While at Rutland HS, Beerworth played four years of hockey with the North American Hockey Academy, serving as captain from 2001-03. Beerworth was given the Seventh Player Award in 2004. A captain in the 2004 season, she was also a three-time letter winner in track and field. Beerworth was also a standout in soccer, playing four years on the varsity squad. She was named a high school All-American and set the school record with 68 career goals.
Personal:
Caeleigh Deane Beerworth is the daughter of John and Mary Beerworth and is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Cornell. She has a younger brother.
