2022-23 I SENIOR SEASON
Tied for the team lead in points (18 goals, 30 assists) in 32 games… named first-team All-Ivy League… named first-team All-ECAC Hockey… nominated for the 2023 Patty Kaz Award.
 
2021-22 I JUNIOR SEASON
 
2019-20 I SOPHOMORE SEASON
Saw action in all 33 games… opened the season with a six point weekend against Robert Morris , including a career-high four points (1g, 3a) in the first game… registered nine multipoint contests throughout the season… sixth on the team with 30 points (17g, 13a)… named ECAC Hockey Player of the Week twice - Oct. 28 and Jan. 20… ranked 28th in the nation, ninth among all sophomores, with 0.52 goals per game.
 
2018-19 I FRESHMAN SEASON
Appeared in all 36 games during her freshmen campaign… progressed as the season went on, becoming one of the team’s top scoring options by the end of the season… after only registering three assists in her first 25 games, Frechette registered 10 over the last 11 contests… her first collegiate goal came against Brown on (Feb. 15)… sent the Big Red to its first Frozen Four since 2012, with the overtime game-winner against Northeastern in the NCAA quarterfinal (Mar. 16). 
 
PRIOR TO CORNELL
Four-time letterwinner at St. Paul’s School in Concord, New Hampshire, where she served as a captain her senior year… played Club for the East Coast Wizard… received an invite to the US National Camp every year she was eligible… four-time New England Prep School All-Star and New Hampshire All-State team from 2015-18… named her team’s most valuable player in 2016, 2017 and 2018 and was named the rookie of the year in 2015… helped lead St. Paul’s to the New England Prep School Hockey Title in 2015… was a two-time recipient of the St. Paul’s Girls Ice Hockey Award earning the distinction her junior and senior seasons… four-time letterwinner in both field hockey and lacrosse, each of which she captained her senior her senior year… was a three-time New England Prep School All-Star for field hockey in 2015, 2016 and 2017 and was the team’s most valuable player her junior and senior year… named to the New Hampshire All-Star team in 2016 and 2017… in lacrosse, was tabbed a New England Prep School All Star and the team’s most valuable player her junior and senior seasons… graduated cum laude and was on the honor roll all four years.
 
PERSONAL
Gillis Burnett Frechette is the daughter of Timothy Frechette and Mara Burnett… she has one sister, Finley, who played for Cornell women’s ice hockey and lacrosse team… she is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
