Appeared in nine games... posted a season-high four tackles against Dartmouth (Nov. 16), including his first career tackle for loss (1.0 TFL for seven yards) ... recorded his first career interception against Yale (Sept. 28)... finished the season with nine total tackles (eight solo), four pass breakups, and one interception ... registered at least one tackle in five different games.

Made 13 tackles while playing in all 10 game

2022 I FRESHMAN SEASON
Played in nine contests with eight tackles, including one for a loss ... made his collegiate debut in the season-opening win at VMI, making two tackles, including one for a loss ... posted single tackles in six other games, including five solo stops.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Was a first-team all-state selection at Harvey HS ... threw for 1,063 and 12 touchdowns, ran for 902 yards and nine touchdowns, had 71 yards receiving and 346 return yards and three return touchdowns as a senior ... posted 55 tackles with three coming for a loss, along with three interceptions and three forced fumbles on the defensive end ... named the Lake County Touchdown Club Offensive Player of the Year as a senior ... named a Blue-Grey All-American.

PERSONAL
Rick Leron Coleman Jr. is the son of Rick Coleman Sr. and Maria Rivera and has an older sister, a younger sister and three younger brothers ... he is enrolled in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
