Juliana Rogers Career Stats

At Cornell
Junior (2008):
Known more as a blocker in her first two seasons, Rogers became one of the top offensive weapons for the Big Red as a junior leading the team in kills per set (2.66) and placing second in total kills (221). Rogers had 11 double-digit kill matches, including a streak of four matches from September 24 through October 4 in which she averaged 15 kills a match. She set a career-high with 16 kills in the first match of the season against Liberty on September 12, a feat that she would match twice throughout the season. Rogers also recorded multiple blocks in 10 different matches, including a season-high five against both Temple on September 20 and Penn on October 10. On the season, Rogers finished with 75 digs, 35 blocks, 13 assists, and three aces.

Sophomore (2007): Rogers played in all 25 matches for the Big Red, and was second on the team in blocks averaging 1.02 per game during her sophomore season. She totaled 98 blocks, and she notched at least five blocks in 10 matches. Rogers recorded a career-high seven blocks at Dartmouth on Oct. 13. With 12 total aces, she had three at Penn on Oct. 5. Rogers tallied 10 or more kills in eight matches during the season, and posted a career-high 14 at Columbia on Sept. 30. The sophomore middle blocker was second on the team with a .273 attack percentage, while notching 175 kills. Rogers received the team's Pam Orsi '85 Sprit Award, designated to the player who has shown the most integrity and spirit in lifting the Big Red on and off the court.

Freshman (2006): Rogers saw limited action her rookie year, playing in five games while backing up seasoned upperclassmen. She tallied four kills, two aces, and three blocks in the Big Red’s 3-0 victory over St. Francis (N.Y.) on Sept. 22. She also posted two blocks against Columbia on Sept. 30. Rogers will look to play a larger role on the court as a sophomore.

At Marcus
Rogers accumulated a number of accolades while at Marcus HS. She was a two-time first-team all-district selection, team captain and most valuable player leading her team to a district championship in 2003.
