Cornell Post-Game Notes
- Evan Barlow's game-winning goal was his sixth of the season, moving him into a tie for fourth in the nation along with three other players.
- Cornell has now won the last six regional semifinal games it has played in, dating back to the 1997 West Regional Semifinal, which was also played at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Mich.
- Cornell is now the remaining ECAC Hockey team still playing in this season's NCAA tournament. Both Yale and Princeton had their seasons come to an end on Friday in the East and West Regional Semifinals, respectively.
- Saturday's game marks the third time this season that the Big Red has won a game in which it trailed at the end of two periods. Most recently, the Big Red won in the ECAC Hockey semifinals against Princeton, also scoring twice in the final three minutes for the come-from-behind victory.
- Saturday's win was the 104th playoff victory in Cornell history and the 965th victory overall, as well as the 276th victory in the career of head coach Mike Schafer.
- With a goal and an assist in Saturday's game, Evan Barlow raised his season playoff point total to seven points in six games (6-1--7) this season and to 11 points in 20 career playoff games (9-2--11).
- Cornell improves its record to 11-3-3 this season when playing on a Saturday and 11-4-4 when the game is decided by one goal or fewer.
