Cornell University Athletics

Women's Tennis Record Book

Cornell women’s tennis has steadily risen from its inaugural varsity seasons in the 1970s to become steadily competitive in the Ivy League. The program claimed a share of the 2017 Ivy League championship and qualified for the NCAA Tournament in 1996, winning a first round contest. With a long line of successful players from Cornell Hall of Famer Helen Johnson, to New York State doubles champion and current Chairperson of the Cornell Board of Trustees Anne Meinig Smalling, to former Ivy League Players of the Year Olga Itskhoki Harvey and Marika Cusick, Big Red players have reached  the highest levels on and off the court. Under head coach Katie Zordani, the best is yet to come.
