As a freshman (2019)

• Led freshman class with 30 appearances, including 28 starts catcher, in left field or as designated hitter.
• Batted .200 with four doubles, a home run, 14 RBI and a pair of stolen bases.
• In span between March 10-24, had multiple hits in four of seven games.
• First collegiate home run came in second inning of April 27's second game against Penn, which would later end in a walk-off win.
• Tied for second on team with four games in which he drove in multiple runs.
• Ended season on four-game hitting streak.

Prior to Cornell

• Competed for four years at Kingwood HS, garnering a spot on the all-district first team and academic all-district teams in 2017.
• Participated in the Houston Area Coaches Association All-Star Game in 2017 and 2018.
• Garnered honorable mention for the academic all-state team in 2018.
• Earned Texas Region honorable mention for 2018 Perfect Game All-Region teams and was placed on all-tournament teams for the WWBA 16U and 17U National Championships.
• Tabbed 26th among catchers in Texas and Top 1,000 nationally among classmates by Perfect Game.
• Also played football at Kingwood, earning all-district second-team honors both as a fullback (2016) and linebacker (2017).

Personal

• Austin Thomas Flematti is the son of Tom and Anita Flematti, and he has one brother and one sister.
• Father played tennis for Sam Houston State, and brother, Tyler, played tennis for Delaware.
• Enrolled in the College of Engineering.
