Price made three appearances with one start before an injury derailed his season. 

Junior Season — 2016
Price garnered All-Ivy League honorable mention as a utility player in his first season with the Big Red. He batted .233 overall but led the team with 17 walks and was hit by nine pitches to post the team's second-best on-base percentage (.371) while serving as the team's primary No. 2 hitter. He cranked three home runs, including an eight-inning solo shot against Binghamton that proved to be the winning run in a 3-2 victory. Beyond the offensive numbers, Price proved invaluable with his durability and defensive versatility. He appeared in all but one of the Big Red's games and made 10 appearances at catcher, eight at second base, seven at third base and a 12 as the designated hitter.

Prior to Cornell
Price joins the Big Red after two seasons with Washington University in St. Louis, helping the Bears tie the program record for victories in a season last year (34) and a trip to the NCAA regionals. He was named to the D3baseball.com All-Central Region First Team in 2015 and was an all-league second-team pick in 2014 after batting .378. Prior to that, Price earned 2012 Florida 3A all-state recognition and 2013 Florida 3A academic all-state honors. He was a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society, and also was a two-year member of the Florida High School Athletic Association student-athlete advisory committee.

Cristopher James Price is the son of Mark and Kristina Price. He is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
