Senior Season — 2011-12
Ishida earned a save in his first appearance on March 3, working four innings of relief in a 15-4 victory over Maryland-Eastern Shore in his first game action since 2009 before he transferred out of Arizona State. ... Ishida made his first collegiate start on April 17 against Siena, tossing three scoreless innings in a no-decision.

Junior Season — 2010-11
Ishida did not see varsity action in 2011 due to injury.

Prior to Cornell
A transfer from Arizona State, Ishida played two seasons with the Sun Devils, helping his team to a pair of Pac-10 championships. He did not pitch as a sophomore, but worked 7.2 innings as a freshman, recording seven strikeouts to go along with a 3.52 earned-run average in seven appearances out of the bullpen. At Punahou School, he was a two-time Honolulu Star Bulletin State Player of the Year and the Honolulu Advertiser State Player of the Year as a senior. Ishida was also the Gatorade Player of the Year in 2007 and earned first-team all-state honors in water polo in both 2007 and 2008.

Personal
Harrison Masao Ishida is the son of Harrison and Helena Ishida and has a younger sister who plays water polo at Villanova. He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
