Junior Season - 2010
Lopez appeared in 26 games, making 21 starts as he shared the starting catcher duties with Brandon Lee on the season. He batted .194 on the year with a pair of home runs among his 14 hits on the season. Lopez added in 10 runs and nine driven in for the year in his first extensive action. He went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a home run on March 22 against Northwestern, and later went 2-for-5 with two runs scored and another pair driven in on April 4 against Harvard. He hit his second home run of the year on April 28 at Binghamton, going 2-for-6 while picking up a season-best four RBI in that contest.

Sophomore Season - 2009
Lopez made his collegiate debut as a pinch hitter on March 20 at Sacramento State, striking out in his only appearance of the season.

Freshman Season - 2008
Lopez suffered an injury prior to the season opener and missed the entire 2008 season.

Before Cornell
Lopez was a two-time all-county selection in high school, earning four varsity letters and starting three years behind the plate. He was named team captain as a senior, and played in both the B.E.S.T. World Series in Port Charlotte, Fla., and the East Cobb tournament in Marietta, Ga., in 2007.

Personal
Michael Anthony Lopez is the son of Miguel and Rose Lopez, and he has a brother and a sister. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
