Sophomore Season — 2017
Blackstone made four starts among his eight games, batting .136 with a double and a pair of RBI in the team's season-opening series at Navy.

Freshman Season — 2016
Blackstone appeared in three games and is still looking for his first collegiate hit after eight at-bats.

Prior to Cornell
Blackstone had a standout career at George C. Marshall HS, where he was named the Virginia 5A Player of the Year, the 5A North Region Player of the Year and the Conference 13 Player of the Year in both 2014 and 2015. After garnering honorable mention for the Washington Post All-Metropolitan Area for two seasons, he was placed on the first team as a senior in his second year as a team captain while helping lead his team to a conference title and runner-up finishes at both the state and regional levels.

Personal
Mitchell Lewis Blackstone is the son of Franklin Blackstone III and Alison Brunton Blackstone, and he has an older brother, Kent, who has played baseball at New Mexico State and George Mason. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
