2023 l SENIOR SEASON
Started in all 15 games … recorded a pair of goals and an assist at Brown (4/22/23) … notched two goals and one assist in the NCAA Tournament first round game against Michigan … posted 23 points, including 11 goals and 12 assists, with 10 ground balls.

2022 l JUNIOR SEASON
Played in 17 games for Cornell in his Junior year ... scored 18 points for the Big Red comprising seven goals and 11 assists ... recovered 12 ground balls ... scored one goal and added one assist in the championship game against Maryland.

2021 l SOPHOMORE SEASON
Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2020 l FRESHMAN SEASON
Did not play (season shortened due to COVID-19).

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Named a U.S. Lacrosse All-American in 2019 ... named the 2019 All CNY Lacrosse Player of the Year, in addition to earning a spot on the All CNY Lacrosse team ... helped his team to the sectional and regional championships in 2017 and 2019 ... two-time first team Section 3 All-Star ... three-year letterman at Charles W. Baker HS, where he holds the program records for points scored in a single season and assists registered in a season ... named the Baldwinsville Outstanding Athlete of the Year and earned a spot in the Exceptional Senior Lacrosse Game in 2019 ... competed on the club circuit for Orange Crush Lacrosse.

PERSONAL
Spencer Ryan Wirtheim is the son of Michael and Amy Wirtheim and has two siblings, one younger sister and one younger brother ... his grandfather, John Bartolo, was a member of the Cornell football and basketball teams from 1964-65 ... Wirtheim’s parents, along with his grandfather, are Cornell alumni ... he is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
