At Cornell
Bandanza made six appearances off the bench as a junior, pinch-hitting five times and coming on once as a defensive replacement. He made one appearance off the bench for the Big Red as a sophomore, pinch-hitting and staying on in place of William Pauly in the eighth inning against Siena on April 25. He appeared in six games as a freshman, primarily as a pinch hitter. He started the second game of both doubleheaders against Le Moyne, drawing two walks in two plate appearances in the home game on Apr. 12, helping the Big Red to a 2-0 win. For the season he walked three times against just one strikeout. He will be counted on to provide catching depth and will compete for at bats as a designated hitter and pinch hitter.

At St. Mark's
Bandanza was a four-year letter winner at St. Mark's School, where he was a catcher and designated hitter. He was twice named to the All-Independent School team and earned all-league honorable mention once. He is a strong athlete with the potential to hit for power.

Personal
Anthony Paul Bandanza is the son of Paul and Cheryl Bandanza and has one younger sister. He is enrolled in Cornell's College of Arts and Sciences.
