Cornell University Athletics

As a junior (2015)
• Opened the 2015 season as the starter at center and played in all 10 contests.
• Was part of an offensive line unit that started all 10 games together.
• In his first full season as a starter, Cornell’s total offense, rushing and passing yards were all up over the previous year, all the while allowing fewer sacks and converting a higher percentage on third downs.

As a sophomore (2014)
• Spent several weeks on the travel roster as the team’s backup center.
• Played as a reserve against Dartmouth.

As a freshman (2013)
• Emanuels saw action in three contests as a freshman in 2013, including one start at center, before suffering a season-ending injury.
• Emanuels opened the contest against Colgate after seeing reserve action against both Bucknell and Yale to open the season.

At Mercer Island HS
• Emanuels was a first-team Associated Press all-state member as a senior at Mercer Island HS.
• A first-team all-league and all-area pick, he was a finalist for the Seattle National Football Foundation Award and was selected to play in the 2012 Washington East-West Senior All-Star Game.
• Elected team captain as a senior, he was twice named the team's Offensive Lineman of the Year.
• As a junior, Emanuels was named honorable mention all-county.
• The three-year letter winner on the gridiron played on both lines and also earned a varsity letter in basketball.

Personal
• Alexander Clayton Emanuels is the son of Brian and Anne Emanuels and has an older brother and two younger brothers.
• He is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
