As a senior (2014)
• Earned his first varsity letter after appearing in seven games as a special teams star and a backup tight end.
• Unselfish player who has moved from linebacker to the defensive line and now to tight end.
• One of the squad’s top leaders.

As a junior (2013)
• Johnson earned his first career varsity action in the 2013 opener against Bucknell, making three unassisted tackles.
• He also earned time against Ivy champion Princeton as a reserve linebacker.

As a sophomore (2012)
Johnson did not see varsity action as a sophomore after joining the team as a walk-on.

At Ithaca HS
• A three-year letter winner at Ithaca HS, Johnson was an all-region pick as a senior after ranking second on the squad in scoring with 46 points.
• He hauled in four receiving touchdowns and returned an interception for a score, while also kicking 16 extra-points.
• A league academic all-star, Johnson helped direct IHS to a pair of winning seasons.
• He also played basketball and baseball, lettering twice on the diamond while leading the team in strikeouts per game.

Personal
• Andrew David Johnson is the son of Michael and Jill Johnson and has two brothers, one older and one younger.
• His older brother, Alex, was a four-year member of the Big Red football program, while his father is the Dean of the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell.
• He is enrolled in the School of Hotel Administration.
