• Saw action in all 10 games, primarily on special teams.
• Made on tackle in the win over Sacred Heart.
 

As a junior (2017)

• Played in four games.
• Saw special teams action in each of the first two games this season and returned from injury against Princeton.
 

As a sophomore (2016)

• Earned playing time in a pair of games on special teams.
 

As a freshman (2015)

• Holmes saw action in the final three games of his freshman season on special teams and as a reserve cornerback.
• Made three tackles, all coming against Ivy League co-champion Dartmouth.
 

At The Maret School

• Earned all-state honors as a senior at The Maret School while playing running back, cornerback and linebacker.
• Was a two-year captain, earning all-league accolades as a senior.
• Holmes was a four-year starter.
• Competed in wrestling and track and field as well as football.
• Was a league champion and an all-league pick in 2014 on the mat.
• Elected team captain three times in track, capturing a school and league record in the 400-meter dash.

• Austin Scot Holmes is the son of Ira Scot Holmes and Rhonda Cunningham.
• His cousins played football at Texas A&M-Commerce and Western Michigan.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the SC Johnson College of Business.
