2022 I FIFTH-YEAR SENIOR SEASON
Played in two contests as a reserve quarterback ... rushed four times for 5 yards ... completed 1-of-3 passes for 6 yards ... invited to play in the Japan-U.S. Dream Bowl in Tokyo following the season.

2021 I SENIOR SEASON
Completed 41-of-71 passes for 561 yards and three touchdowns along with three interceptions in six contests at quarterback, including two starts ... has rushed for 21 yards on eight carries as well ... made his collegiate debut against No. 22 VMI, rushing once for 3 yards ... came off the bench in the fourth quarter to lead a pair of scoring drives at Yale, hitting on 7-of-14 passes for 105 yards and a score ... picked up his first collegiate start at Bucknell, completing 19-of-28 passes for 256 yards and rushing five times for 15 yards, but was also intercepted twice before being injured ... missed two games due to injury ... returned by completing 30of-8 passes for 73 yards and a touchdown in a start against Brown ... completed 3-of-7 passes for 39 yards at No. 22 Dartmouth ... was 9-of-14 passing for 88 yards and a touchdown in the season finale against Columbia.

2020 I JUNIOR SEASON
Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2019 I SOPHOMORE SEASON
Did not compete on the varsity team.

2018 I FRESHMAN SEASON
Did not see varsity action.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Mays was an all-district and academic all-state selection as a senior at Dutchtown HS ... a two-year team captain, he began his playing career at Rockwall-Heath HS in Texas ... Mays was a three-year letter winner in baseball as an outfielder and pitcher.

PERSONAL
Benjamin Christian Mays is the son of Frank and Beth Mays and has an older brother ... he is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
