At Cornell
Olsen played in five contests as a sophomore in 2013, making 13-of-14 PAT kicks and attempting a field goal. Olsen made his first 13 extra-point kicks in 2013, including five perfect kicks vs. Brown and three each against Harvard and Monmouth. He has scored 20 total points in his first two seasons. Olsen saw action in a pair of contests as a freshman in 2012, hitting both field goal attempts, including a career-long 28-yard effort in the win at Bucknell, and made 1-of-2 extra-point kicks for a total of seven points. Olsen made his collegiate debut in the win over Yale, hitting a 22-yard field goal and booting his only PAT attempt.

At Centennial HS
A four-sport athlete at Centennial HS, Olsen was an all-district scholar-athlete as a senior. He garnered the team’s special teams award in his final season after posting 61 kicking points (five field goals, 46 extra-points). Olsen also competed on the baseball, golf and soccer teams. He was captain of the junior varsity soccer squad.

Boomer Brett Olsen is the son of Fred and Kim Olsen and has two brothers. He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
