2023 I SENIOR SEASON
Started all 10 games at defensive tackle while also splitting time on special teams ... made 15 tackles, one quarterback hurry, and a sack ... matched his career-high single-game tackle mark of three at Lehigh, and against Brown and Princeton ... made a sack against Princeton for a loss of seven yards ... earned the quarterback hurry against the Tigers.

2022 I JUNIOR SEASON
Played in seven games as a reserve on the defensive line ... posted seven tackles with a fumble recovery and a quarterback hurry ... posted a pair of tackles in the win over Lehigh ... notched three stops, recovered a fumble and was credited with a quarterback hurry ... had single tackles against Colgate and Dartmouth ... missed two games due to injury.

2021 I SOPHOMORE SEASON
Saw action in four total contests as a reserve on the defensive line, making one tackle ... made his collegiate debut in the win over Colgate ... also saw action in the Ivy League win over Penn ... recorded his first career tackle at No. 22 Dartmouth.

2020 I FRESHMAN SEASON
Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Was a two-year starter at New Trier HS, contributing along the defensive line and as a tight end, offensive and defensive lineman and linebacker ... helped team to a 7-3 record and Class 8A playoff appearance as a junior ... earned all-league and all-area honors ... also played lacrosse for New Trier, helping them to a 20-5 overall record as a junior on the way to a state championship.

PERSONAL
Brendan Angland Chestnut is the son of Edward and Kelly Chestnut and has two brothers ... his grandfather, Jim McGowan, played football and baseball at Boston College ... his uncles, Jim (Villanova) and Michael (William & Mary) McGowan, played collegiate football ... he is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
