As a junior (2014)
• Played in all 10 contests with six starts, ranking among the leaders in tackles among defensive linemen with 23.
• Added 1.5 sacks while adding his third varsity letter.
• Notched four tackles against Penn.
• Posted three tackles and a sack at Columbia.
• Made his first start of 2014 against Lehigh and responded with four tackles and was in on a sack.
• Notched four stops at Brown.
• Had a pair of stops at Harvard and three vs. Dartmouth.
• Made a pair of tackles in the 2014 opener at Colgate.

As a sophomore (2013)
• Jones had a breakout sophomore season in 2013 as the team’s starting nose guard. • One of the strongest players in the Ivy League, he proved a top run-stuffer while registering 23 tackles with two tackles for loss and a sack.
• Jones posted a career-best five tackles vs. Brown and had three tackles against Monmouth, Dartmouth and Columbia.
• He had his first sack against Harvard and made his first start in the season opener against Bucknell.

As a freshman (2012)
• Jones played in four contests as a freshman in 2012 and earned a letter as a reserve defensive tackle.
• He posted a tackle that went for a loss against Monmouth.
• Jones made his collegiate debut against Yale.

At Naperville North HS
• Jones was a first-team all-conference and all-area selection on the defensive line at Naperville North HS.
• Jones posted 26 tackles and a sack while playing noseguard.
• He set national squat, deadlift and bench press records on the high school powerlifting team.
• Jones also played on the rugby team.

Personal
• Brett Michael Jones is the son of Jeff and Mary Ann Jones and has four brother.
• His brother Matt played hockey at North Dakota and for five seasons in the NHL for the Phoenix Coyotes.
• His brother Zach also played hockey at North Dakota and for the South Carolina Sting Rays in the ECHL and his brother Kevin played rugby at Purdue.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
