At Cornell: Despite missing a majority of his junior season with injuries, FitzPatrick is ready to emerge as a primary receiver in his final year with the Big Red. The converted quarterback/defensive back saw action in the final three contests in 2007, hauling in four passes for 38 yards. FitzPatrick caught 12 passes for 141 yards in 2006, while playing in all 10 games to earn his first varsity letter. His top effort came at Harvard, catching three balls for 59 yards against the Crimson. A tremendous athlete, FitzPatrick saw action as a freshman at defensive back, seeing time in two games and making a special teams tackle against Bucknell. FitzPatrick is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

At Episcopal: FitzPatrick was named first-team all-city and all-state after a successful prep career at Episcopal Academy. FitzPatrick, the Philadelphia Daily News’ Inter-AC Player of the Year, rushed for 1,512 yards and 16 touchdowns. He was 40-of-80 passing for 528 yards and added nine more scores. FitzPatrick also was a top performer on defense (defensive back) and on special teams (two return touchdowns). He earned the Maxwell Football Club Award as the top player on his team. FitzPatrick played halfback and netted 2,754 yards of total offense in his career. He was a three-time all-league pick and a two-time all-county selection. FitzPatrick also lettered in basketball and baseball.

Personal: Brian Shane FitzPatrick is the son of Brian and Bette FitzPatrick and has a younger brother.
