After three seasons on the defensive line, Williams moved to the offensive line over the spring and will compete for a starting job at guard this fall. He played in five games as a junior on the defensive line with one start, earning his third varsity letter and posting seven total tackles in 2013. He earned the start against Colgate and recorded a career-high four tackles and also made stops against Bucknell, Yale and Princeton. Williams played in eight contests at defensive tackle as a sophomore in 2012. He started four contests and ended the year with 13 tackles and a forced fumble. He posted three tackles against Monmouth with a forced fumble and matched the three stops against Penn.  Williams started six games at defensive tackle as a freshman in 2011, earning significant experience as the year went along. He made four tackles, including two stops against Princeton.

At Poly Prep Country Day School
Williams was named to the New York All-Star team as a senior defensive end at Poly Prep Country Day School. He was named the team's Defensive Player of the Year as a senior and was the Most Improved Player as a junior.  Williams played on both the offensive and defensive lines.

Personal
Cadell Stephen Williams is the son of Stephen Williams and Marsha Daniel. He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
