At Cornell
Anthony Catalano joined the Big Red coaching staff during the fall of 2021 as a defensive intern.
Prior to Cornell
In his first season at Crespi Carmelite HS as offensive coordinator, the school won eight games after posting eight total wins the previous four seasons combined. The offense averaged 36.0 points per game and tallied 4,678 yards while winning a conference title and winning a pair of playoff games.
Catalano coached at Corona Centennial in 2018, helping the team to a 12-1 record, a league title and a state semifinal appearance as well as a ranking as high as No. 9 in the MaxPreps national computer poll. The offense averaged a whopping 51 points per game and piled up 5,387 yards of offense.
A 2020 graduate of Azusa Pacific with a degree in psychology, Catalano is expected to earn his master's degree in organizational psychology in December 2021. He was a two-year captain at quarterback as a junior and senior and was part of a conference championship squad in 2018. He began his career by playing two seasons at Southern Utah, earning Offensive Scout Team Player of the Year in 2016. SUU won a conference crown the following year.
