Prior to Cornell

After his playing career, Moore started his coaching journey at Conard (Conn.) HS under his former UConn receivers coach, Matt Cersosimo. In his only year at Wesleyan, Moore helped the Cardinals navigate through a 2020 season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He assisted in the development of the players on and off the field during his time in Middletown, Conn.

Playing Career

A four-year letter winner at the University of Connecticut, he was elected team captain as a senior and graduated ranked in the top 10 in program history in receptions (126) while registering 1,699 career yards and 13 touchdowns. He competed in three postseason games, including catching four passes for 62 yards against Oklahoma in the 2011 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl - the program's first-ever BCS Bowl game. Moore also competed on the indoor and outdoor track & field teams, helping the Huskies win the Big East Championship in both indoor and outdoor seasons. He was invited to the 2011 NFL Combine and later signed contracts with Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh and Kansas City.

A native of Burlington, N.J., Moore played for Burlington Township HS where he earned all-conference, all-South Jersey and all-state in football and track. He graduated from UConn in 2011 with a degree in economics.
