 At Cornell: After moving from wide receiver to defensive back as a sophomore, Nash emerged as one of the conference’s top cover corners during his junior campaign. Nash intercepted a team-best three passes and broke up nine others in 2006, ranking sixth on the Big Red in tackles with 47 and starting all 10 games on defense. Nash picked off passes in consecutive games against Albany, Harvard and Colgate and broke up five total passes in the final three games of the year. He was given the Stone Travel "Big Play" award for his game-changing efforts. Nash had five tackles on special teams in 2005. As a freshman, Nash made a huge impact on the special teams and the scout team, earning the Dick Schaap Award as the newcomer who makes the biggest contribution to the varsity squad. Nash saw action in nine contests on special teams in 2004. He is enrolled in Cornell’s College of Human Ecology.

At Fairport: Nash was a four-year starter on the football team at Fairport HS. A two-time letter winner, he was named to the first-team all-county squad as a senior and was also an Eddie Meith all-star. That year, Nash also served as co-captain of both the football and track teams.

Personal: Colin Michael Nash is the son of Barry Nash and Patricia Nash-Rubien and has a younger brother.
