• Smith spent his freshman season on the scout team.

At Three Rivers HS
• Smith was an honorable mention all-state selection as a senior at Three Rivers HS.
• A two-time first-team all-conference pick, he was a two-time academic all-state honoree.
• Smith helped block for an offense that averaged more than 200 yards both running and passing as a junior en route to a district title and a regional runner-up finish.
• He was named to the Sturgis Journal Dream Team as a senior.
• The three-sport athlete also played three years of basketball and baseball, earning all-conference accolades in baseball as a sophomore.

• Connor Alan Smith is the son of Larry and Deb Smith and has a younger sister.
• He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
