Biography

As a junior (2015)
• Appeared in nine contests as a reserve defensive lineman.
• Posted 19 tackles with one for a loss.
• Registered a career-high six tackles, including a half-tackle for loss, at Dartmouth.
• Made three stops in the season finale at Ivy champ Penn.
• Made two tackles at Princeton and against Columbia.
• Earned his first action of 2015 at Yale.
• Had a pair of tackles, including his first career tackle for loss, against Colgate.
• Had two tackles against Sacred Heart.

As a sophomore (2014)
• Played in eight contests as a reserve on the defensive line, making five total tackles.
• Had a pair of tackles against Brown and one stop vs. Harvard.
• Closed the season with two solo tackles in the season finale against Penn.

As a freshman (2013)
• Dean did not see varsity action after serving on the scout team during his freshman year in 2013.

Prior to Cornell
• Dean was a two-time Section I scholar-athlete selection at Walter Panas HS.
• He lettered in football, basketball and baseball
