• Brown graduated as the all-time leading rusher at Franklin Regional HS, posting 4,159 yards and 69 touchdowns during his career.
• A three-time all-conference pick and team offensive most valuable player, he earned first-team accolades as both a junior and senior.
• Brown was a three-time member of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette's Fabulous 22 team and a two-time member of the Pittsburgh Tribune Review's Terrific 25.
• A team captain as a senior, he was part of a conference championship squad as a junior in 2011.
• He rushed for 1,960 yards and 34 scores in helping his team to the state semifinals that season.
• Brown was a two-time All-WesternPaFootball.net Big School team member.

• Dane P. Brown is the son of Brian and Aimee Brown and has an older sister.
• He is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
