Prior to Cornell

• Trimbur was chosen to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette west Fab 22 team as a senior captain at South Fayette HS.
• He was part of two state championship teams and four conference title-winning squads that posted a four-year record of 54-2.
• Trimbur earned a spot on the Observer-Reporter’s Elite 11 team in his final campaign after hauling in 36 passes for 565 yards and 10 scores.
• He earned first-team all-league honors as a junior after catching 36 passes for 570 yards and 10 touchdowns.
• He was credited with 104 catches for 1,732 yards and 26 touchdowns in his three varsity seasons.
• He also served as the team’s place-kicker and punter and started on defense at linebacker.
 

Personal

• Daniel Griffin Trimbur is the son of Mathew and Lauren Trimbur and has an older and younger brother.
• His cousins Taylor (women's soccer, Penn State) and Connor (wrestling, Stanford) Schram also compete in college athletics.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
