At Cornell: A valuable pass rusher and run-stopper, Arezzo has the combination of strength and quickness that makes him one of the team’s top defensive linemen. He had a breakout junior season, ranking among the team leaders with 7.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks, while starting all 10 games. An emotional leader of the defense, he posted two tackles for a loss and a sack at Georgetown and 1.5 TFL and a half-sack vs. Harvard. Arezzo had a career-best five stops at Princeton and registered sacks in consecutive games vs. Dartmouth and Columbia. He also had an interception vs. Harvard, forced a fumble and broke up two passes on the season. Arezzo saw action in nine games as a reserve during his sophomore campaign, posting five tackles and a fumble recovery in the opener at Bucknell. Arezzo spent most of his freshman season on the team’s two-deep and earned playing time in three contests. Arezzo is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

At CBA: A first-team all-state and All-Central New York selection at Christian Brothers Academy, Arezzo was part of an undefeated state championship squad his senior year. He recorded 79 tackles, including 10 for loss and eight sacks, while blocking a kick and scoring a pair of defensive touchdowns as an all-league defensive end. Arezzo was invited to play in the 2004 Governor’s Bowl, pitting the best high school players from New York vs. the best players from New Jersey. As a junior, Arezzo was third-team all-league and third-team All-Central New York. For his career, Arezzo posted 208 tackles, 25 tackles for loss and 20 sacks. He was rated a two-star prospect according to scouting service Rivals.com. 

Personal: Dario Giuseppe Arezzo is the son of Pietro and Angela Arezzo and has a younger brother and sister.
