• Hauled in two passes, including a 9-yard touchdown, in the 2018 opener at Delaware.

As a sophomore (2017)

• Played in six contests, catching eight passes for 72 yards and a touchdown while missing time due to injury.
• Earned starts in the first two contests of 2017.
• Made the start in his collegiate debut at Delaware, hauling in three passes for 23 yards.
• Hauled in his first career touchdown with a 9-yard grab against Bucknell.
• Matched his career total of four catches and surpassed his career yardage total with 40 yards in the win at Princeton.
 

As a freshman (2016)

• Was a member of the junior varsity team as a freshman in 2016.
 

Prior to Cornell

• A three-sport athlete at Boys Latin School, Lizana was an all-state and all-conference selection in football at wide receiver.
• He hauled in 67 passes for 976 yards and nine touchdowns as a senior.
• A team captain as a senior, he was chosen to receive the Ray Carpenter Award in 2015.
• Lizana also captained the lacrosse team and turned down a number of Division I scholarship offers in the sport.
• He also lettered in basketball.
 

Personal

• Davis Jared Lizana is the son of Joe and Amy Lizana and has an older and younger brother.
• His father played football at Idaho State and Towson.
• His grandfather, Richard Glowgowski, played football at Boston College and his uncle, Adam Glowgowski, played football at Maryland.
• He is enrolled in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
