• Made his debut in the Big Red's win over Colgate, carrying the ball twice.

As a junior (2020)

• Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
 

As a sophomore (2019)

• Completed 3-of-5 passes for 16 yards and ran for 64 more on 22 carries in seven games off the bench.
• Saw action at Harvard, attempting one pass and rushing three times for zero yards.
• Completed a pass and ran twice for 7 yards against Colgate.
• Ran for 21 yards on four carries, including an 18-yard run, in the win over Brown.
• Completed 2-of-2 passes for 21 yards and added seven rushing yards on five carries vs. No. 12 Princeton.
• Carried the ball six times for four yards at Penn.
• Had one carry for five yards in the win at Dartmouth.
• His only carry went for a career-long 20 yards in the win over Columbia. 
• Made the travel roster as a backup quarterback in each of the team's first three games.
 

As a freshman (2018) 

• Missed his rookie season due to injury.
• Moved from wide receiver to quarterback during the spring.

Prior to Cornell

• Brinson earned all-region honors three times and was an honorable mention all-state pick at Savannah HS.
• A three-year captain, he was named to the All-Greater Savannah team as a dual-threat quarterback.
• As a senior, Brinson accounted for nearly 1,500 yards of offense and 16 touchdowns on offense and registered 43 tackles at safety.
• He passed for 1,686 yards and 14 touchdowns during his junior year.
• Brinson also played baseball and basketball.
 

Personal

• Dez'mond Antonio Brinson is the son of David and Salethia Brinson and has a younger sister.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
