Biography

At Cornell
Valdner earned his first varsity action as a junior, earning reserve time against Princeton after making the travel team all season. He saw action on the junior varsity in his first two years, and his size and strength make him a player to watch among the young offensive linemen. He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.

At New Egypt
A first-team all-conference center as a senior at New Egypt HS, Valdner served as team captain. He was also a first-team all-academic pick. He blocked on a line that rushed for 168.7 yards per game and 17 touchdowns as a senior. Defensively, Valdner posted 28 tackles and 1.5 sacks on the defensive line with one fumble recovery.
