Biography

At Cornell
Chayes earned his second letter in 2013, seeing action in all 10 games and extending his streak to 20 consecutive. He posted one tackle on the season and recovered a fumble on special teams in the win over Bucknell to open 2013. Chayes earned his first varsity letter in 2012 with appearances in all 10 contests as the team's long snapper. He made on tackle on special teams and recovered a team-high two fumbles, both coming in the Homecoming win over Yale. He was listed on the team's two-deep as the squad's backup long snapper, but did not see varsity action as a freshman in 2011.

At Red Bank Catholic HS
Chayes was a three-sport standout at Red Bank Catholic HS, playing football, ice hockey and baseball. He was part of division champions in each sport every year he played for a total of eight crowns. Chayes' football team won a conference title in 2009 and his hockey squad was league champions in 2010. Chayes served as captain of both the football and hockey team.

Dylan Robert Chayes is the son of Fletcher and Diane Chayes and has two younger sister. He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
