As a senior (2017)
• Played in all 10 contests, seeing action on special teams and at safety.
• Was credited with eight tackles and caught one pass for 22 yards.
• Posted a career-high three tackles in the 2017 season opener at Delaware and caught a pass for 22 yards on special teams.
• Notched two stops in the Ivy League opener at Yale and then again at Dartmouth.
• Had one stop against Colgate.

As a junior (2016)
• Earned his third varsity letter after playing in nine contests and recording four tackles.
• Saw significant time in the Big Red’s Ivy-opening win over Yale.
• Earned field time in the win at No. 25 Colgate and the loss at No. 16 Harvard.
• Had one stop on special teams at Brown and a tackle against Princeton.
• Made a special teams tackle against Sacred Heart.
• Had one stop against Dartmouth.

As a sophomore (2015)
• Bloomquist earned his second varsity letter thanks to his play on special teams.
• Saw action in all 10 contests,
• Made a tackle against Bucknell.

As a freshman (2014)
• Saw special teams action in all 10 contests as a freshman.
• Earned a varsity letter.

At Christian Brothers HS
• Bloomquist made 64 tackles (three for a loss) with four interceptions as a senior at Christian Brothers HS, breaking up seven passes with fumble recovery en route to all-league accolades.
• He also caught 45 passes for 641 yards and eight touchdowns on offense.
• Bloomquist earned second team all-league accolades as a junior after posting 55 tackles with an interception, three pass breakups, two fumble recoveries and a pair of blocked kicks.
• He was a two-time team captain on the gridiron.
• Bloomquist also competed in track and field, where he was the conference champion in both the 100 and 200 meters as both a junior and senior.

Personal
• Erik Thomas Bloomquist is the son of Erik and Patti Bloomquist and has an older sister.
• His grandfather played football at Santa Clara and for the San Franciscon 49ers and his uncle played football at Hawaii.
• He has cousins who competed in track at California and soccer at Oregon and Miami.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
