As a senior (2021)

• Played in six contests as the team's kickoff specialist.
• In all, 11 of his 23 kickoffs have gone for touchbacks and he averages 58.5 yards per attempt.
• Averaged 60.8 yards on four kickoffs vs. No. 22 VMI.
• Had touchbacks on all three kickoffs vs. No. 22 Harvard.
• Posted three touchbacks on six kickoffs in the win over Colgate, averaging 65.7 yards.
 

As a senior (2020)

• Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
 

As a junior (2019)

• Was the team's starting place-kicker for four of the team's first eight games, going 6-of-7 on PATs and making 3-of-6 field goals.
Served as kickoff specialist in seven games, posting 18 touchbacks on 33 attempts.
• Was a perfect 3-of-3 on PATs and averaged 65.3 yards on four kickoffs (two touchbacks) in the season-opening win at Marist.
• Made his first career field goal and 1-of-2 PATs at Ivy preseason favorite Yale.
• Connected on both field goal attempts, including a career-long 39-yarder, and hit both PAT attempts vs. Colgate.
• Kicked off against Brown, booting four of his eight kicks through the end zone for touchbacks.
• Had a pair of touchbacks in two attempts vs. No. 12 Princeton.
• Posted three touchbacks in four kickoffs at Penn.
• Had two touchbacks on five kickoffs in the win at No. 12 Dartmouth.
• Four of his six kickoffs went through the end zone for touchbacks vs. Columbia.
 

As a sophomore (2018)

• Spent several weeks on the travel roster as the team's backup place-kicker.
• Did not see varsity action.
 

As a freshman (2017)

• Did not see varsity action.
 

Prior to Cornell

• Patla was a three-time all-league selection as a place-kicker at Perkiomen Valley HS.
• The two-time first-team all-league pick set league records for kicking points in a season (63) and longest field goal (49 yards).
• He snapped The Haverford School’s 21-game win streak with a 33-yard field goal in the closing seconds.
• Patla was part of two league championship teams.
• Patla also played a year of soccer.
 

Personal

• Garrett Paul Patla is the son of Mark and Nicole Patla and has an older and younger sister.
• He is enrolled in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
